Slapton Manor is a quintessential English gem located in rural Northamptonshire.
The Smith family have been farming at Slapton Manor for 4 generations, in fact since 1924, and still going strong today.
Slapton Manor’s farm stead is steeped in history, with its 12th century manor house, 12th century parish church of St Botolph, renowned for its medieval wall paintings, along with an 18th Century Threshing Barn full of rustic charm.
The Olde Threshing Barn is now impractical to use for modern day farming so more recently used to host civil wedding ceremonies and other events.
In conjunction with the Olde Threshing Barn we also have the Marquee Site overlooking Northamptonshire’s rolling countryside. Along with our traditional polled marquee this site offers the perfect backdrop for any celebration or event.
Encompassed within the historic fold yard you can also find our en-suite accommodation studios beautifully converted from traditional cow byres and stables.
